 Seat bases
What are you guys using for seat bases? Weld on or bolt on? Building a new side seat with dry storage and was going to add a seat base. My old one didn't have one. Need it to be dry. Either I can weld a cap on the end of it to keep rain out of dry storage or plug it or whatever.

 Re: Seat bases
We weld ours. Make sure that if it's going on top of a dry storage, that it is a sealed bottom base.

 Re: Seat bases
Be careful and don't weld it too hot. I warped up 2 lids one time trying to weld one down. I just weld about 2" on each corner.
