Ok i am about to sand my boat down and repaint. Im not going to sand down to bare aluminum. I was going to take grinder and wire wheel and go over everything first then comeback with fine grit and sand it all down then wash it with alumabrite or something like that then wash it.

I was thinking of painting it like a dark primer grey or black. has anyone done that before? I was thinking of an epoxy primer. Whats yalls thoughts and ideas? A buddy of mine owns a body shop and he said that the epoxy primer would hold up well. I thought of doing that and then spraying a flat clear over it.

anyway anybody have any pics of black boat or dark grey?
