Any reviews yet, about to order a 16 ft model and wanted any input that I can get. Still not sure how I want to power it?
Thanks!

I can't help you with the marsh series but I would go at least 17 ft minimum for load carrying benefits alone.
Gator trax makes a nice boat but I think they are to expensive.

I have a GT 1754 hybrid that I am using for the big rough stuff, more transporting gear and hunters to spot, but I also hunt a private club in North East Texas off the Sabine that is protected and has a lot of flooded out hardwoods which is why I am looking at the marsh series . The club also strictly enforces a 25 hp limit. I know they just changed the design on it and haven't heard any feedback yet except from Kent and he has been raving about it.

1. Why do idiots take a post 4 years old to put out their crap?

2. Why did it have to be a post that I was extremely interested in and was looking forward to some discussion about?

I've been watching the YouTube promo video for the GT Marsh Series here recently and really like what it has to offer. While out of my price range new, I've been keeping an eye out for a used hull that might be available at some point.

Hell, I’ll give a review on the 14ft marsh series

FWIW this is my first mud boat and I have about 50hrs of stick time.
I run a stock 35 Mud Buddy , short transom. Top speed with 2 people and cooler has been 28mph on the gps.
Boat has the extended front deck, 2 batteries and 6 gallon fuel tank. Hydro turf floor ,front decks, hunt deck and gunnels

Duck hunting load with 2 people I run 26 to 27
Duck hunting load with 3 people I run 25 to 26

I get some porpoising when solo at top speed , which I think I could adjust out by moving the trim tab at the back of transom.
It runs so good with my duck hunting load with 2 ppl I haven’t played with it.

I can get about 4250 rpms running and am bumping the rev limiter thanks to this forum I think I have the carb adjusted pretty good.

The boat runs super skinny and is easy to hide. I’m pleasantly surprise how it handles bigger water. I run Toho a lot and I have never run into a problem. Obviously this Boat will not be ideal for big water
I have never had water come over the transom the hunt deck does a good job.
Awesome 2 ppl hunting boat, can hunt three but it’s a little tight.
I have the boat flipped right now and just did 5 coats of gator base and will do 5 coats of g2 next weekend .
I’ve learned the hard way bare aluminum is like glue.

Usage is 95% duck hunting and 5% fishing.
