I recently got an old bass tracker that I'm in the process of converting for a duck boat. It's an older boat with some sketchy lookig rivets. I plan to have some welding done. But wanted to know if there's a product someone can recommend to coat the bottom with for extra assurance. Steel flex? I'm a college kid on a budget so keep that in mid when recommending products. Thanks in advance.
The slick bottom coatings aren't gonna help much for leaky rivets. You need to repair or replace the rivets that aren't sealing before you put a coating on.

Re: Bottom of boat coating/seal
Gluv- it is a product marketed for that. Ive used it on an older riveted outboard boat. no issues.
