 Opinions or Facts!
Ahight boys I need some input! I can't seem to decide what I want. Wife told me I can get a new hull this year! What I have now is an 18×54 with no crimp on the sides. What I'm debating on getting is a 19x48 with a sport flare crimp. Do yall think swapping to the 19x48 will kill my load carrying much? It's a common occurance for me to have a 3 to 4 man Hunt load, not to mention my family done got a Lil bigger! I'll be pushing the boat with my stage 2 gen 3 prodrive

What about an 1860? I think you would definitely be sorry going narrower.

Well honestly I'd like a 20×60 with dual motors lol but I know that ain't in the budget for this year!

 Re: Opinions or Facts!
If you're thinking 1948 you might as well run a 2048. The extra foot will help your load carrying that much more and the sheet of metal comes in 20 ft anyways.
Have been running 2 different 2048s for 6 years and wouldn't go with anything different for carrying a load.

I'm all for bigger but I thought when you used a 20 ft sheet and pulled up your rake it wound up being 19ft

 Re: Opinions or Facts!
I run a 2054 and I think it carries a load great with a 37EFI Gen 3 PD. I would never go away from the 20 footer....if anything maybe even go down to a 2048.

 Re: Opinions or Facts!
Im going to be going from an 1860 ribbed jon to an 1854 mud hull for my stage 1 gen 3 pro drive. My hope is that the load carrying benefits of having a true mud hull will make up for any disadvantages of being a little narrower. For what it's worth a 2060 with even a single engine carries a load pretty well.

 Re: Opinions or Facts!
I'm thinking I'm gonna go with a 2060 that way I'll easily be able to put dual motors on it in the future.

 Re: Opinions or Facts!
Well I bit the bullet and put a down payment on a new one today! Ordered a 20 x 60 I'll start a build thread once it gets underway. For now I'm gonna run my tiller handle stage 2 prodrive on it and when I can afford it I'm gonna put dual efi prodrives on it.
