Post Prodrives SBX
Anybody on here that can give me the pros an cons of this hull. Would be used as a do it all boat. Open water to backwater. Live between mobile an pensacola. Some mud an some sand and alot of open water.

I think they're heavy but unsinkable... Supposedly.

They are a good do it all boat, definitely great for open water. The added weight is the only major drawback. My stock gen 3 never pushed it great. Mods helped out quite a bit.

I bet the gen 4 gearing will push an sbx much better than my gen 3.

It will push that load. Low to mid 20s more than likely.

I absolutely love my self bailing hull. Definitely not worth it if you want a tiller motor, didn't see what kind of set-up you wanted.

Never have to worry about putting a plug in, really easy to wash out, and more floor space. And never have to worry about rain filling up your boat if you leave it floating out in a rainstorm

I've always wondered on the duals, are you still able to use FPR. Obviously, you'd have to have the hydraulics to rotate the lower, rather than do it manually. But, is there enough clearance for both lowers to rotate without interfering with one another?

Thanks for the info I’m just putting an Avery quick set on it with the killer weed kit. Keeping it simple my 16x48’s quickset has made it five years with no problems.
