Just ordered the 2060 with modded 37'Prodrive using a hydraulic steer console (I'm getting to old to hold that tiller handle). I really like the blind and will use it in several different hunting situations. I got it pretty well equipped but I was wondering if anyone else could come up with a must have option. Got the dog step, LED lights inside and out. I would have liked the dual motors but couldn't choke another $7,000. |

While a 2nd motor would be nice the single modded 37 will probably surprise you. You may not set any speed records but you will be able haul a hell of a load. |

2nd motor on a 2060 and shes gonna be squatting way more than you want with your hunting load. as for must haves. I feel a huge swing open door on each side of the blind is a must. Makes getting in and out for guys during the hunt much easier for everyone. Helps a lot when in deeper water getting into the boat, especially if you are pull the boat and you hit a drop off, a quick way in is very nice. Makes loading decoys in slightly deeper water much easier than trying to stack them on the blind which can be a good bit over head in chest deep water. Not sure how you are setting up your front, but I am a stickler on a good dog hide vs being wide open. Decoy storage is somthen that is also key for us running huge spreads. Somthen to keep you guns in place when the dog is walking around or you have kids in the boat moving around. I also put padding on the back and front font of the inside stringers, makes leaning on much nicer and bonking your head or resting your head more user friendly. As for the console, I hate doors that swing off to the side. I prefer a door that open towards the back of the boat. Keeps everything more dry, and when it gets cold you dont have it freezing up. My last blind was rigged to open to the side and I turned out hating it. |

I would recommend rear hard door to keep dog seperate, 7-7.5 ft gun box with three seat bases, 1. Base in floor by motor That way you can have 4 in blind 3 on gun box one on extra seat and one by motor [5 total hunters]. Port side door with acess to gas tank , fold away gun holders 12 gallon . 2 split lids on each side with wire screen. Mine has double door front for decoy storage and sheds waves better Have pointed bow but complicates loading and unloading. Recessed switch panel built built myself due to location Any questions 612 669 5462 Paul |
