Hello gents.

My first post here, joined because I was hoping to find some info related to a project I will be starting at a later date.

My project is a hull that will be a total length of 13 foot 10 inches and will have a max bottom width of 54 inches, transom will be 16 inches tall and set to the angel copperhead calls for.

Im planning on running a 23 horse cooperhead on this boat when I finish building it.

The planned use of this boat and motor combo is to get to shallow weed choked pounds and flats that I want to hunt, wont be running on mud are across hard ground are anything that most folks would do with a surfacedrive motor.

The boat will be built for a one man no dog max of 4 dozon decoys layout/sneak style of hunting in the marsh and along shallow bay shores.

Oh and one more bit of info about the boat it will weight in the range of 170 to 190 pounds when built.

So with this info, how well do yall hink she will preform with a 23 cooperhead surfacedrive motor.
