tell a little more about your boat and motor that you have. wedges work great in the right application, but they're not for everyone. I have successfully used them myself...

14X48 riveted triton with 23 mini lite. .100 ribbed bottom. with 2 ppl it will carry about 2/3rds of the hull out of the water when trimmed right. by my self i cant trim enough to keep the boat in the water

get some thick 3x3 aluminum angle, cut 2 3" sections, then trim one side down to something short, like 5/16. kinda depends on how thick the material is. it doesn't have to be much. then you have some wedges, like you see in the pictures above. put them on the outside corners of the botttom of your boat, just in front of the transom. stick them on with some epoxy, smooth down the leading edge, and go run your boat and see if they work for you. test with and without a load. if they work, knock/grind off the epoxy and pay an aluminum welder a couple bucks to weld them on for you.

if they push your bow down too much, make them shorter. if they don't work good enough, try some taller ones.

I'm sure you could figure out by looking, but the way Jp did it above, he made his solid, that way he could grind down till he got the right height.
