 Adding a 2nd Bow eye
I have a gatortrax gator hide. It is a PITA putting the winch strap and safety hook in the same eye.
Would a second eye added on be strong enough to winch the fat pig on the trailer or function properly for the safety hook?
Appreciate the advice.

Re: Adding a 2nd Bow eye
I've have double bow eyes on all my boats. Makes it nice when you have icy conditions, Plus you don't have to fight the safety chain hook into the same eyelet as the winch with gloves on. When the weather gets down to -10 - -15 degrees, you don't want skin exposed for very long. We hunt a fast running river during the late season goose and get some odd ass looks towing a mud boat in that weather. Plenty strong if its welded correctly. When I asked Prodigy to weld on a second eye Chad was questioning my idea. Then I sold several of his boats up in the North country and everyone saw my idea of the double bow eyes. Now they all order them that way.
So my answer is, yes do it.............
