I know most people here run the larger and thicker boats but where I run my motor, I don't need a thick hull as I don't run stumps or trees. All just salt marsh around me. I want to upgrade to something in the 1648 range while keeping the rig light. I use a welder .080 lowe mod v now but could use the true flat bottom. Is there a company that has a simple no frills mud hull like I'm looking for ? I thought I had seen a true flat weldbilt but can't find anything on it. Thanks for any help

Some boats come in .100 but you should check a custom builder.

If your not in a hurry, soon as I finish my house that got flooded on caddo lake, I got a Uncle J Custom that needs rigged, I am pulling all the stuff of my old boat and it will be for sale.

18x46 Southfork Custom, .100, 20" transom, 18" sides, complete with dents(lol) its light and runs like an over powered canoe with a GTR 35. only 1 tine that runs down the center.
Boat and Galvanized trailer $2500.00.

I run a .100 grizzly with a longtail here, definitely would be better with a light true flat .100 hull. I believe Alweld makes them like that, no frills.
