I am thinking about buying some hydro turf to do the floor of my grizzly tracker, I have a few questions:
1. will the 3M stick on the grizzly paint job? (its the rough type of finish)
2. my floor is 50 wide by 77 long, did yall have any problem aligning to pieces of the hydroturf together? I wish it was big enough to cover my entire floor without any seems

I'd have someone help u, I used 3m spray adhesive and if u spray the floor an the turf you best get it right the first time cause once it tacks up, game over.im doing everything but the floor on mine cause it seems like a pain in the ass lol

If you true up the edges it'll line up fairly easy. It's just not cut real straight from factory.

I cut my sheets straight then measured center line to outer edge. That way the seam was centered. Turned out pretty good.

Here is some inspiration. I had mine outside (mostly covered) for almost 3 years and it still looks pretty good. It is getting a little hard and crusty in some spots. I would do it again though. It is in my shop now, so that will help.

I did my old tracker years ago and it worked fine. I no longer have the boat but I know its still sticking and in good shape.

1) Like mentioned first square of the edges of the new sheets.

2) Have cold beers close by, a sharp razor knife and a good long straight edge.

3) Pre cut and fit the entire boat.

4) Clean all the surfaces with acetone.

5) Spray the outside and seam edges (2" or so) with 3M super 77 or 90 adhesive.

6) Use some type of roller to work out the air pockets in the turf after you lay it down.

Is this an art project or a hunting/fishing boat? :P

Smoke covered all the parameters...especially the cold beers. Prepping the surface is key. On my grizzly, the hydroturf has lasted four seasons and only now is showing wear, and this on the center area that gets more sun . I bought some grey and mixed it up with the original tan camo and it is primitive but gets the job done. Anybody complains, they don't ride! 8-)

Did mine, didn't put any doors on it tho, definitely makes it a lot more comfortable to drive.
