Post switch panel placement
I'm in the process of rewiring my boat. I am curious as to where everyone mounts their switch panels, fish finder/gps, and any other accessories. I really like the look of the gator trax boats switch panel located in the seat box. I also like the switch boxes that are made to go in the gunnel track. I'd like to see some pictures of what everyone is doing. Hopefully this is the last time I wire my boat.

Post Re: switch panel placement
My boat has the switch panel mounted perpendicular with the false transom. It uses 3 rivets through the catwalk to a 1x1 square tub with a square piece of .125 aluminum with the panel mounted. It's nice and out of the way as it's offset 2 inches under the cat walk. I can hit a switch while running so that's nice and it's easy to remove.

This is just small beans though... What you really have to worry about is where you'll put your bow rope.
