Plumber's plug from your local hardware store. Buy a spare or two.

That's the one. Try a plumbing supply store.

I've used an expandable rubber freeze plug before. They seal great. But you need a crescent wrench or something to install/remove them.

Are these interior or exterior if exterior use screw in plugs I don't trust those flip plugs to not get caught on something and flip open

I installed mine on the inside and me and another guy never could get the flip one to flip once it was adjusted to size, it was impossible even though it was a snug fit to begin with.

I use the T-handle one easily and it stays put and is nearly flush on the outside.

Plug it in from inside the hull....you don't want that big plug getting pulled out accidentally by getting tangled up in anything you're riding through.

I have one standard size marine plug in the transom and one 2" hole in the transom for hosing out the crap that accumulates.

My 2" plug is a expamdable frost plug that I got from an auto parts store. Works fantastic. I'll take a picture and post it tomorrow.

I'll never have another boat without a 2" plug.

That's gotta make washing the trash out way easier. Next boat will have it.
