Swivel seat on rear storage box?

 Swivel seat on rear storage box? I'm wanting to put a rear storage box like this on my boat. I'm wondering why you don't see any with seat bases and seats on them. I want to have a seat with a back on it for frogging and long runs. Is it because the handle will hit the seat or driver? I'm trying to decide between a rear box like this one because I like having the extra storage and an open layout with a movable seat and base. Any advise or pictures setup like I'm talking about will be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Swivel seat on rear storage box? I have one on my PD. If I was facing straight towards the bow I wouldn't have clearance to make a very sharp left turn, but I drive rotated a little (way more comfortable on the arm) anyways. It does look like your setup would have less distance between you and the motor though. I saw a lot of boats at the caddo run that had driver's seats.
The lid on mine is wide enough that I can still completely open the compartment and have enough clearance on the starboard side.

Re: Swivel seat on rear storage box? Mine is similar. No issues turning. When you need a hard turn, just stand up. Only times I can't turn as tight is when my polling platform is on, but that's still not a huge issue.
