Project complete
Had the dumb idea of wanting to build my own ride. I've never welded anything or built anything from metal so this endeavor turned into a chore to say the least. Thanks to everybody that offered help and info along the way. Big thanks to Justin Russell for finishing up some tricky welding for me and shooting my base while he had it. Thanks also to Rj @ Deadfowl. Wouldn't have been possible without him. He's good people. Haven't ran it yet, hopefully tomorrow. 1850, 3/16 bottom, 1/8 sides. Bottom is slicker than owl poop thanks to David Ward @ GatorGlide.

Re: Project complete
I see where you said you have never welded anything before. Did you have someone teach you how to weld aluminum or did you just get some and figure it out on your on? That is a big project to start with. I like it.

Re: Project complete
Looks really good. You got bigger balls than me, I'd turn that into a heaping pile of scrap metal with holes blown out everywhere.
