I have a 1653 Havoc with a HDR surface drive and need to get a duck blind. What blind are you guys using and happy with? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. |

scissor type made of electrical conduit, look on youtube -- cheap, easily took off and put on, easily modifiable, and light. Biggest cost is netting and camo to put on it. |

Agreed. That's what I did for my old boat and probably what I'll do for my new one. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk |

Much cheep to build your own. If you want to buy one I've heard the beaver tail blind is hard to beat |

3/4" conduit frame with Bimini fittings, camo netting and rafia grass. The flat plate in the middle of the square tube allows the sides to fold either direction. The front rail drops by just lifting the cross bar. I used some plastic netting to add a door for the dog to get out since the camo netting is a little light for a lot of opening and closing. The one pic shows the raffia about half way on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Raffia will eventually fade... I have to spruce mine up each year. |
