waterproofing jute
I am making a 3D cover for my beavertail blind using lengths of single jute cord looped around a length of 1/4 inch sisal rope. Basically, the sisal rope ends up looking like a big piece of ghillie suit. I am thinking about spraying it down with tent waterproofing or some other product that will make it less likely to hold water and biodegrade.
Have any of you treated the 3D material for your blind in a similar manner? If so, do you have a suggestion for which product(s) I should be using to help my blind shed water?
