Considering putting a 40-50hp outboard on my 18/44 GD hull during the summer. Anyone have input on this? |

I’d be interested to see how it goes if you do it with that boat. Is it a tapered or round chine? My hunting now has little necessity for the gator tail and considering a 90/65 jet to run heavier loads and faster . Slick bottom + jet is what worries me... To those that build boats....would it be possible to add a single external longitudinal rib with something such as angle aluminum to help in grabbing in a turn? |
