GPS/Sonar?
Just got a Seaark mudrunner. Trying to figure out the best nav/sonar unit. Worried about the transducer being on the back. Even on my War Eagle with the outboard motor had issues in the river. What have some of you done?

Re: GPS/Sonar?
There's a thread on here with some pretty good ideas including some pics concerning mounting transducers. Use Google to search, put mudmotortalk at the end of your search string.

Re: GPS/Sonar?
I'll save you a minute of effort. This comes from cabelas. Turn the head sideways and mount it by your motor. A quick hit of rustoleum and it'll blend right in. Raise it up before you go into the nastiness.

Re: GPS/Sonar?
Check out Vexilar Alumaducer. I've run them for several years with good success.
