Do you guys know if Hydroturf with 3M backing will stay put on the factory liner Excel uses? I really want to add turf without having to sand down existing liner. I'm new to MMT and any replies would be appreciated.

I wouldn’t get the 3M backing. That’s an extra $35 per sheet that isn’t necessary. You can buy a small can of contact cement for around $10 and it’s enough to do the whole boat. Save yourself atleast $120 Just my opinion on it. |

Good point! Thanks for input... Hopefully it will stick to the boat bc it came with a factory spray liner. The liner finish on the boat isnt real rough but is not the usual smooth finish. |

It’ll stick... That contact cement ain’t not joke. Have someone help you, because it has to be perfect when you lay it. Once it’s stuck it’s stuck.. |
