Seminole Bateau
I am looking into buying an aluminum seminole bateau 16 footer. It has a longtail already on it but it looks kind of run down plus I don't really want a longtail long term for ease of operation. Has anyone ever put a SD or regular outboard on one of these? If so, how did it perform compared to with the longtail (from what I understand they're designed to have a longtail on the back)? Thanks in advance for your input.

Re: Seminole Bateau
The aluminum ones were built by alumitech for Paul Dixon. Several on here have the alumitech version of that boat. They turn really good and will run fine with a SD or outboard.

Re: Seminole Bateau
Mine in an 18x60 and runs great. About 27mph with a stock motor and prop. About 34.5 with a modded motor and worked prop.
