Post Poly trailer boards
Anyone usning HDPE boards poly boards, composite boards or whatever you want to call them from Menards, Lowes, etc. on trailer. How are the holding up to bending/breaking on your trailer from hard to launch places.

I bought some from Lowe’s, they are fine after 3-4 years. I did sand the edges, was afraid of the sharp corners. The only place where they look bad is where the transom sits on it. But I don’t have transom straps so that might could’ve solved the issue , but it doesn’t hurt the boat loading or unloading in anyway

I have them on my bigger jet sled trailer. They're much better than carpeted boards. Carpet rots and tears and has to be replaced with the boat off the trailer. Only drawback to the poly runners is they have to be installed carefully with countersunk screws. If a screw loosens or breaks and the flat head sticks up above the poly, it can put a nasty gash in your hull. Don't ask me how I know. :cry:

Mine were soft enough that my screw sank in plenty far enough to never even think about scratching the bottom of the boat. I counter sank them the first time, then the second time I just let the screw sink in on its own
