Boat should be coming in within the next 2 weeks. 22x72 bowfishing series hull 8' front deck 6' back deck flush with gunwales Hunt deck Dual 40's So far the experience has been less than pleasant. Gator tail has no interest in doing anything custom to the boat, if they dont offer it you aint getting it. With that said, its still a damn good hull...and very excited to run it with the 40's on it. It will be a dedicated bowfishing boat, so it will be interesting to see how these 40's perform. Will update with pics and speeds once I get it in and everything built the way I want it. |

If they're being a pain in the ass about building YOUR boat how YOU want it with YOUR dollars go somewhere else.... custom rigs have their share of issues too normally but you get what you have your eye set on. That being said, there is also something to be said for the way a production hull runs with its respective matched propulsion. Hope the rig turns out and runs how you wish. |

Well boat is in, and there are issues as to be expected. Asked for no seat/leaning post and they installed a seat. I was firm about the motors having 2 blades and it has 3 blades, and my bow nav light is right in the way of my bowfishing rail. Other than that, it looks pretty damn good. Its still sitting at the dealer until the issues are fixed so no videos of it running yet. |

I had a terrible experience at gatortail too when I bought my 40. They didn't seem to care about customers or wanting to help. Asked for a 2 blade and got a 3 as well and had to pull teeth to get them to swap it out. |

I guess 3 minutes from your house, but the shittiest experience is worth it then... They may as well be 30 hours away if they cant do what you are wanting done. Honestly, when I had my mudbuddy, I didn't have as bad of service as what a lot of people have with GTR. But, To each his own I guess.. |

If you would have asked before getting raped by gatortail on a hull they didn’t want to built to your specs, I could have referred you to a guy we all use in breaux bridge that would have built your boat better and cheaper, but I guess you are one of those “big brand guys”...... too bad for you
