Little input on painting over base coat?
Hello, long time onlooker but first time posting. Looking for any help on painting a brand new aluminum hull. Base coat is tan, i’m wanting a flat chocolate brown then will add camo. I’ve painted other boats in the past that we stripped to bare metal using alum oxide primer and duralux that was rolled on. But on this project I would love to spray with a paint gun. Any suggestions on a resilient, clean application to use through a gun? I’m upset duralux don’t make a chocolate brown.....
Thank you for y’all time and help.
God Bless
-James

Scuff up, wipe with acetone to remove any dust, oils and debris. Mix a little thinner in the duralux, spray on.
