Need help with Alumacraft 1748 Transom Repair
I came across a GTR 35 at a good price and was planning to put it on a Alumacraft 1748 that I already have. The boat had a 50hp Yamaha on it before, when taking off the yamaha I noticed that the transom is rotted. Looking for some advice on the best way to rebuild the transom. Also I have read that it is necessary to add additional bracing for the transom. What should I be looking at doing?
