I am mostly running in bayou's and flooded timber for duck hunting, but I am also going to be using the boat for fishing grand isle/ fourchon area. Usually have 2 people and a dog. Looking for some advice on boat size. Will be running a 36 hp Pro Drive SD. Thanks

Re: 1754 or 1848 Pro Drive Boat
Likes my 1754 center console with da 36 PD. Has a 12 gal aluminum tank and starting battery in da back, trollin motor battery in da from hatch. Great for fishing and bay hunting. Ran 28.8 with 2 guys in it and full of fuel. Don't know about the timber running, the 48 wide may be better for that.
