I currently have a 27hp pro drive on it. I had some aluminum welded to the transom to support the sd engine. What size engine could I fit on this boat? Not looking for the biggest most powerful. Just want something newer and a little faster. |

You would have no problem with a Big Block engine. Brand of your choice. |

Thanks for the responses. I only was concerned bc the boat was originally designed for a long tail. But with the added transom I know it could take more. |

As long as the height of it is fine, yeah I’d go with a 35-40 size block. No real weight difference so more up to pocketbook. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
