Post New Boat Blind Coming Out
Was at a local dealership today, the guy has designed a boat blind that is completely different than anything out there now.

Best thing is that it can be hunted two ways- sitting up like normal and also a very low profile set up. Either way, it is a blind that is going to hide well and you can stay warm in it. Looks like it will come off and on the boat easy and be small enough to lean up against the wall of your garage.

Wish I could say more, wish I could post pics. Can't. It will be showing up soon though I bet.

I have. I wanted to buy one of his popup sled blinds. They do not have grass straps. I asked if I could get grass straps. Not possible at any cost he said. He told me that I don't need grass straps. He said camo fabric is all I should ever need to kill a dumb old greenhead. I don't know where he hunts but I want something besides camo fabric.

I'm also not a fan of lids that fling up with springs. I figure I got two choices: Shoot a duck that is backpeddaling his a$$ off because a lid flings open or I can ease up and shoot them with their feet down.

By the way, you from Iowa?

Yeah I wanted to get one too, but funds were a lil short. They're like 1300 bucks if I remember correctly. I like havin the grass to. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to add, but oh well. I'm usin a gooseview on one boat and a beavertail on the other. I like the gooseview a lot, and its cheap. Has the grass straps also. Only thing I hate is havin to bungee it all up to trailer it. Thinkin bout gettin some type of sail cover made for it that just zips up. Then it would be perfect.

We are working on a new blind design that we think will be really cool, it will be able to be used as 3 or 4 man layout style boat blind, a pop-up blind you can sit up in and it is totally removable in the off season. We have been working on this design off and on for the past two years and finally have it really to show. We have been previewing it to a number of our regular customers for feedback over the past several months and they all seem to think it is a great design that will be very effective. Most of all it will give folks the option of laying down on day when you need maximum concealment in low cover or open water, yet can be used at a traditionsl sit down blind as well. We will be introducing it at our regional show on Feb 18th, as soon as the skins are finished we will post up some pictures to get feedback and thoughts from folks on here.
