 Re: Geaux Custom
I have 5 buddies who run Geaux's, one with a pro-drive, and one with a phowler. After review from all of them, I'm picking up a Geaux. Price, quality, are better than the competition. There's a couple of them on here running MB's and acouple with PD's. I imagine they'll post up.

 Re: Geaux Custom
How do the double taper boats turn if you don't mind me asking? I have a Gator Trax round chine and was considering going to a double taper.

 Re: Geaux Custom
How does the double taper stand as preformance. ie round turns better slower speed, square slides better speeds.

 Re: Geaux Custom
I have a 1848 very close to Mitch's, I love mine. I've gone through 3 boats in 3 years.. 2 Excels and now this Geaux.....I've run a MBHd45 on it and now a stock 36PD. The 45 could do 33-34mph all day long and the 36 does solid 28mph. I can run a hunting load and 3guys and still plane without to much trouble. Great Boats.....
