To get speed wise out af a 1748 geaux custom tapered chine with a 27kohler pd on it? will it still plane with three men and 4 doz deeks? no blind just the bare essentials for travel |

You be pushing it..... not a speed demon.... How fat is your hunting buddys......iv seen a 2036 pimp 900 pounds with a 27....don't know the speed but we where planing out all day.... If you can go 1848 or 1754 remember that 27 is a beast but its got it limets |

I could plane me and another larger guy with my 23 on my 1746 Geaux skiff, could not plane ma and 2 larger (than me) guys a dog and bilnd material. I can plane the ole lady, and both of her kids, and a 120qt ice chest just fine with the 35, only loosing .8mph. I know that doesnt really help with the 27, just letting you know my experience |

Thanks Guys, I guess I was thinking that it wouldn't be a problem seeing as how before the 32 came along guys would cheer lead the 27 all day long but now you are lucky if you can find 1 single review anywhere. T.O.S. is useless for any infomation at all anymore. seams like no one runs a 27 anymore. |
