Whats the best small boat to use along with a duck boat like a pd? Should i go with a marsh rat or an otter outdoors final attack or just go with a pirogue? worried bout stability in a pirogue and it looks like the other two are more stable. i would mainly use it to pick up ducks during the hunt (dog too old). any suggestions?

I love my marsh rat. I hunted many times out of it in open water with unbelievable results. It is very low profile and handles slight chop well. Very stable boat. It has four holes molded into it so you can stake down the boat if needed.

Those bandit marinepirogues loook just like the marsh rats but made out of aluminum and lighter. Might still go with a normal pirogue cause the price savings. Getting a new mudboat and motor :D so I won't have much to spend after that.

A simple fiberglass piruge is all that is needed. You can buy them around South La for around $300.00
