Drake1, I seem to remember that you were using or testing a 3 blade on a Gator-tail. If so, how was the performance. Was it a MB or something you had made custom? I don't run in the thick mud or veggies and would love to have some vibration and torque reduced. Woody |

Runs great, carries a load, great hole shot, good speed, not much tiller torque and not much vibration. Mr. Hopkins built it for me. It is a 11X10 with round blades and some cup. Stock motors will need a 11X9 in my opinion. It does decent in the mud and decent in some grass. It is a good hard bottom clean water prop. I am trying to get him to build me a 4 blade in 11X9. More blades in the water the more prop you can get out of the water to blow yourself out of the hole on hard bottom. I hav a two blade that can do it right now but I have found the smaller the prop the smoother and easier it is to drive. |
