Looks like competition for Hopkins and looks like the ones chops3131 are carrying. Sooooo buy direct save a buck. Hillmarine will make a prop to any size shaft you need, will charge you extra, but it can be done.

I had bad luck with ron hill, I needed a prop made for my old scavenger, but reversed. They were absolutely unwilling to try and make me one.

Scavenger, thats why its a one of a kind. LOL I had good dealings with Ron Hill, but i never bought custom application, just what he sells. He is a reputable speed racing propeller man. I used and abused a 9x7 regualr mudmotor propeller and it digs and held up so far after 2 years. Sorry you had a bad experience.

I was told by a certain person at Hopkins that they wouldn't bother building me a prop for my Scavenger either. But then again they told me that nobody made an 9x3 prop when go-devil has them right there on their website.

Looks as if someone used a prop design with a keyway and then came up with a hex insert.

The ones you see in the pics are the test wheels the production ones will be casted with the hex in them

So who do I order one for the GDSD?

just to let you guy's know, ron hill used to make props for mub buddy. including the tiger prop.

I have two 3 blade brass props that look just like those. They were original props for v drive ski boats. Bought em sent them to Hopkins and he had them broached to fit my GTR. Props had to have the blades worked and cupped. So see we tell the prop guys what we would like and they build the prop to try and meet our needs. Most good prop guys do the same type work.

The original Tiger prop was smaller and had more cup to it......Not as nice as the Big blade

I've had prop work done by this company. I gave them my flatsboat prop, told them what I wanted it to do, they got my boat and motor info, then made it happen first attempt.

I personally wouldn't call a Scavenger prop a "prop". Its auger flighting, notice the cork screw design. Thats why they're motors are reversed because, its the only way to run auger flighting.
