im reassembling my 27hp GD long tail. new shaft, lower seals, prop and bolts. Go devil recommended i fill the lower seal housing with silicone, let it cure then completely remove before grease and new seals. anyone else done this ?...also anything else i should lookout for when putting everything back together. what is suggested for greasing. i assume i should apply as much grease as i can when reassembling and add more once everything is back together. thanks in advance for all the help...im trying to avoid anymore setbacks in the middle of the season....this is kiling me as it is.
