Gear oil leaking from top of lower unit

 Gear oil leaking from top of lower unit Anyone have a problem with leaking gear oil from the top of a 36hp PD?

Re: Gear oil leaking from top of lower unit Yes. You lost the lower seal and water is replacing the gear lube n the lower unit forcing the oil out of the top seal. Happens alot.
