Post Oil in my PD lower unit Q
I changed my lower unit oil after a hard run duck season
When it came out of hole it was pure white

My question is why white am I getting a leak in lower unit

prob. need to change out the prop nut seal. Pro drive will send you one for 125 and you can mail the old one back to e, they will mail you a check back for $55. also turns milky if you have run recently, something to consider.

Let it sit for a few days and check it again, don't run the motor before you check it.

well it acts like a blender in there and traps air when the gears spin. i personally would refill it and go. run it a few times let it settle then check it again. if it is cloudy then i would proceed with the changing of three seals.

Do you have the new style Lu with grease zirk? Also did you wash the motor down using a lot of water around the clutch? There is a vent inside the tower that lets water into Lu. Happened to me filled Lu with water right after changing oil.

If it makes you feel any better, just drain it again and refill. You will have lost all of 30 minutes and $3.00.
