Have a 6.5 SD that is geared at 1.54/1 turning 3600 rpms. I am trying to get a the correct prop size for this motor. I see that "Dixie" is running a 9x9 on their 6.5 SD but wasnt sure if that was right for me. We are pushing a hull that is 260 lbs, with a 225(man) and single mans gear. Running in shallow water, some weeds, and sand bottom ( no mud). Any advice?

Sorry, now I saw this post. What rpm are you hitting out of water at full throttle? What prop are you currently running?
