Me too!!! I'm a clear water pirate and a 3-blade would be nice.

Seen a demo 3 blade on a GTR in Pecan Island last year, They ain't worth "you know what" in the marsh. Had one on a 23gdsd and would blow out in mud and grass, just wouldn't dig, the same as what happened on the GTR.

Off topic a tad-bit ... but I wonder why Go-Devil has had such good luck with 'em and the others don't ?

Why would a 2 blade be better over sand bars

Slightly larger diameter puts blade tip closer to the bottom of the skeg...

Ive got to disagree giga. they sell their sd's with the three blade for a reason: thats what works best with their setup. Im running about as light as a setup as you can get and the three blade is faster and i dont see much difference in the mud.

but you might be right about the sandbar i have no clue there.

I don't know anyone with a GDSD that has a 2 blade wheel on it,and none of them are complaining. No sand bars close to home buts lots of veggies and mud and they do just fine with the 3 blades.

Pretty sure Go-Devil started puttin the 3 blade on the 35s due to a vibration problem and 2 many mufflers breakin because of it. Thats what the go devil dealer told me anyway. He also said they were a lil faster than the 2 blade.
