 Interesting development
35 MB HD sport was turning 3850rpms at 25.5mph with the old Bear trim unit with 2 of us and fishing gear.
It died a month ago, and I got my new Thompson trim on it last week.
24.1 mph at 3850 - 4000 rpm.
23 if I lower it to 3760 rpm.
Same exact load.
Interesting....

I suspect there might be a loose nut behind the tiller?

How bad was it to replace that unit? I may have to replace my trim unit in the near future. (crossing fingers that It wont be during duck season..)
