 Rock/Sand Guard
What happens to yalls props whenever they smack a stump? And if you run across sandy bottom a lot, is it worth it to purchase a guard? Or does it get in the way more than be a benefit?

 Re: Rock/Sand Guard
It's more a rock / gravel guard if running the rivers a lot. I run sandy bays all the time and do not have a sand guard.
The prop is tough and will take some abuse. You'll wear a prop out in sand yes so be mindful how deep you are before trying to power out of a shallow area. Hitting a stump usually causes very little damage. A possible ding in the prop blade but nothing serious or being concerned about. I've also seen some break the blades at full speed so ALWAYS keep a spare with you.
