 prop wear
I know this question has probably been asked, but.....I have a 31 GT running a 12x10 powertech 2 blade prop. It measures exactly 12 inches tip to tip and across the widest part of the blade (near the hub) it is 4 1/4 inches wide. Other than a nick or two on the cutting edge it appears nearly pristine. What should this prop's dimensions be? Trying to ascertain how much wear is on it. All of y'alls experience and knowledge is greatly appreciated.

Usually the tip to tip dimension and the blade width wear at a proportional rate. If your tip to tip dimension is fine i wouldn't believe you have too much wear on your leading edge either. That prop should measure 12" tip to tip brand new so it sounds like other than a couple of nicks, your fine.

LT prop wear is detectable in diameter measurement...
However
I find the the SD prop wear is mainly in loss of blade width and not length so a better judgement of prop wear examines both but loss of 1/4" to 1/2" of blade width robs it of most of it's performance....

To be honest, I haven't gotten to do much with the rig. I'm waiting for my mechanic to finish going thru it. Before taking it to him, when I could get it to go WOT, the torque against me was pretty bad. Just put a new lower unit on it and haven't had a chance to work on that just yet. I may have to raise the transom, definitely do some adjustment on the skeg, and possibly move the motor off dead center to find a neutral (or at least close) torque situation.
I hope I get it back soon. Reports of flooding on the Sabine for mid week may put our road under water. Live on the water and I could sure use it to at least idle up the canal to get to our vehicles if we have to leave them at the head of the road. Its starting to get frustrating to say the least.
I posted this question just before taking it to him and appreciate everyone's input. I think the prop is fine. May need a bit of polishing tho. Nothing an orbital sander and fine grit paper cant take care of.

Good luck with the flooding...
San Jacinto and Trinity rivers have been bad down here too - even more coming....
I use an orbital to clean up the leading edges of the prop - helps with vibration and adds a bit of speed too - 400 then finish with 800 - no need to polish it but just get it smooth to the touch and dress out the casting pits....
