9x7 prop do I need a new prop?
Just got a new to me mud motor and it has a 9x7 on it from factory. The prop has about a 1/8 inch burnt off of it. Has anyone ran this prop and seen significant performance loss with just a 1/8 inch gone? The motor is a 15 hp jb motor and the prop is 9x7 surface drive prop, I assume its a hill prop

That's not enough wear to worry about. That's a hell of a prop for a 15 hp. If I'm not mistaken, you should be running something like a 9x3 on an engine that size. Is it a turd with a load?
