Post Water in Pro Drive Lower Unit Oil
2007 Pro Drive Motor. I checked my lower unit oil after having it out just one time since the last oil change and the oil is milky. I am scheduled to head out on a trip this week and the low temps are forecast to be in the lower teens with highs in the 20's. I don't want to have things freeze and end up busting up things up in the lower unit. Any thoughts or suggestions that will allow me to still hunt this week? Thanks!

Mines was leaking in from the top of the input shaft on the lower unit...FYI...

There is a 1/8" NPT hole for venting. I plugged it off and solved the issue.

Chances are the seal behind the prop is leaking! Quick and easy to replace

If it's a 2007 motor it might only have the 2 seals in nut looking thing behind the prop. Prodrive went to 3 seals in 2008 I think. U can get a new nut with 3 seals from Prodrive for $100 and send old back for $50 credit
