 Pd Gen3-Gen4 LU SWAP
2015 37 efi (briggs) stock 17x54 PD double tapered chine(empty boat) 2-6 gal fuel tanks full Open water approx. 8ft deep on lake w/o wind. 175 lb captain Sorry for the late post, but I did do the swap. Took it to the lake once so far and I saw almost no gain in top speed, getting there though the Gen 4 was way faster than the Gen 3 feels like alot more torgue/ass behind it, at least felt that way to me. A negative I gained alot more vibration and noise from the Gen 4, more than I was use to with the Gen 3. Kind of disappointed in the speed was looking for a bigger gain, but It's made for how fast the hole shot now is feels like i can get a heavier load up. Also I might add from half throttle to full you really feel the top end difference. Top speed out of the gen 4 was 27 with 2 people at about 4200rpm. I have no shallow speeds or heavier load speeds at the moment. IMO if your looking for that 30 MPH it isn't gunna happen from just the swap.

 Re: Pd Gen3-Gen4 LU SWAP
Gen 3 was 26, I'm not going to say no its not worth it, but if your going for that 29-30 mark your going to have to do more than just a swap.

 Re: Pd Gen3-Gen4 LU SWAP
I'm still cranking the gen 1. Prob should upgrade the lower sometime sooner than later. Was trying to talk my buddy Into a gen4 over his gen2 so I could buy it off him but Prodrive said with his engine mods the gain would be minimal and not worth the cost of the gen4 lower

 Re: Pd Gen3-Gen4 LU SWAP
What was the extra vibration from, did you go from a 3 blade prop to the 2 blade?

 Re: Pd Gen3-Gen4 LU SWAP
Most people are reporting 2 MPH gains with it from what I read
