You won't be happy with the hammer stock. Big blade with some cup what worked best for me in Stock form.

You might be able to, depends a lot on weight, type of hull and if motor turns above 4000 rpm with your normal load. I would recommend trying one before you buy. BPS does have a return policy if prop doesn't work on you rig. If it isn't damaged in any way.

You really need a couple extra HP to turn it effectively IMO. If you have an exhaust you might be ok because the couple extra HP. What size boat are you pushing?

I have an 1851 and I won't run a hammer until I do mods. I would think you're rig would preform similar to mine. I would Stick with a big blade and have it worked up a little.

Re: Stock 37 efi prop ?
Might want to check your hull, could of developed a hook, or foam under floor is soaked up with water. Also check to see what gears are in drive. With mods you have you should be able to pull Hammer prop easily. I can get upto the 4700 rev. limiter with 38/47 gears on my moded BD45 running a Hammer prop. Motor is on a 1648 Alumacraft riveted Jon.
