Anyone know how much a new planetary and ring gear ( whole tranny) would cost for an HDR. I replaced my seal and when testing operation after re assembly I heard a terrible knocking noise. Opened it back up and found a few gears chipped in the corners. Cleaned it good before putting it back in and I’m almost positive I didn’t leave some foreign material in there or if something cut loose. I will investigate further tomorrow but I’m about to drink a lot of bourbon now
