I have a 9HP 1999 Go Devil and just replaced the shaft. Everything is good except the lower seal housing is very hot after only a minute or so. Not sure if grease has made it all the way down there. I filled the shaft housing with grease until it was coming out of the auto lube. I may have messed up the grease seals a bit putting the lower housing on the the shaft (I did not screw it on per the directions but pushed it on).
Any suggestions?
