 Hammer on 37EFI
Will the 37EFI spin the Hammer ? Current sweet spot seems to be 4060RPM's after that it just washed out the prop.
Stock prop runs 29.6mph on a Beavertail 1748.You lose 1.5mph after that with every 200lbs added.
General hunting load is 3 220lb guys with 80 decoys.
Thoughts ? ?

 Re: Hammer on 37EFI
Trim down. There comes a point where the engine either cant spin any more, or you're trimmed too high. That's probably all you're gonna get out of that thing (and that's not bad). Switching to a hammer will lower the rpms you're able to turn and probably drop your speed a tad. It's a lot of prop, and isnt tweaked for speed.

 Re: Hammer on 37EFI
I agree, your speeds are good and a hammer will slow you down
