I'm sure thats when you noticed it - but that 1/4" thick metal that got bent
probably happened trailering to the ramp that day....

Post a pic of how you trailered the motor that day....

That 1/4" thick steel didn't bend from you pullin on the handle running thru veggies....

More likely it bent trailering and when the weld broke later afterward was when you noticed it....

Your not alone on this one Bayoublackhunter. I half assed fixed one with the same problem a few days ago and he has the tiller tie down rope. Same with my podna across the street, I just haven't gotten to his yet. All done while riding.

Bottom is line if you actually run these motor, shit will happen!

Obviously the motor hit something hard somewhere whether it be trailering or not. Steel doesnt just crack and bend like that. Any somewhat smart individual could attest. Definately sucks man. Im sure Coco can fix you up! They have awesome customer service. And thats a much easier fix then some other trim units out there.

PS. It is kinda funny how yall drool over FINALLY a post about a GD having a problem, while we see at least a post a day with your brand. Guess that kinda reinforces our point. They just break less, fellas.

i would say that most people are not drooling over the gd breaking they all break sometime they are all drooling cause the only excuse giga can give is inproper trailering which if giga wasnt there he should listed to what he is told prob. did hit something hard but i would bet its not from trailering that distance......it is funny that this happens on gdsd more then giga Robin and coco want you to beleive i know 2 guys up hear that this same thing has happened to on one for sure was not trailering cause the boat has never been for the 20 yard from the water its whole life

He doesn't know what hard running is, even called me a liar on my hrs. I don't want to speak for another man, but I'm pretty sure garrettpearce or tenpoint will agree with me when I say we put our motors through more abuse in a week of crawfishing than these two yahoo's do in a year's worth.
